Getting to the Summerville Art Festival

There are a number of ways visitors can get to Summerville.

By car: Visitors from Saint John should take the Summerville-Millidgeville Ferry, turning right at Route 845 and proceeding 3 km to the Summerville United Church. The festival location is 300m past the church. Visitors from Rothesay, Quispamsis and points East should take the Gondola Point Ferry, turning left on Route 845 and driving 15 km to the Summerville United Church. Visitors from Fredericton or points North can exit Highway 7 at Grand Bay-Westfield and take the ferry from there.

By bicycle: One of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of the Kingston Peninsula is from the seat of a bicycle. Route 845 provides a 15 km, moderately easy riverside ride from the Gondola Point ferry to the Festival. The ride is shorter (3 km) from the Millidgeville ferry, and still lovely.

Parking and Information: The historic Summerville United Church will serve as the Festival parking area. Parking is free, but a donation to the church would be appreciated. Please use this service as there is no parking on Route 845 or at the festival venue.
